NYC Health Department will be spraying for mosquitos in Queens from 7:45 P.M. today, August 29 to 6:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 30, weather permitting. To reduce mosquito activity and to control West Nile virus, the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) will spray pesticide from trucks in parts of Queens from 7:45 P.M. on Monday, Aug. 29 to 6:00 A.M. on Tuesday, Aug. 30. If weather does not permit, spraying will be delayed until the evening of Tuesday, August 30, or the next possible night.
