    NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Operations Garry McCarthy, goes on trial for his alleged role in a New Jersey traffic infraction that ended up with him and his family in handcuffs.

    According to the Palisades Parkway Police, McCarthy, a 24-year veteran of the NYPD force, was given a summons for obstructing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, while his wife, was given a summons for “making unreasonable noises,” and their daughter got a ticket for illegally parking in a handicapped spot at a parkway Sunoco station north of the George Washington Bridge.
