Borough Park, Brooklyn, NY +Shots Fired At Shomrim Patrol Member+ Early this morning Boro Park Shomrim Patrol, were responding to a suspicious person roaming the Borough Park streets. upon approach perp fired shots throughts one of the Shomrim members but falling in his aim, Members called a 10-13 for NYPD and more members to assist but perp got away.
No one was injured in this incedent.

Another perp was apprehended, while members were on patrol, for mail theft from a pharmacy.

It is a simple formula. 50% of homes in boro park are vacated for the summer, so crime will be up!!
The Shomrim are limited in man power and are doing their best to patrol the streets. People need to do their part to, including leaving lights on, and making arrangements for people to collect their mail and newspapers.
The 40 cars happened on Friday night when there are no Shomrim patrols. In the last two weeks, the BSSP have assisted in almost 15 arrests.

It’s very interesting that now, during the summer, these types of acts are happenning in Boro Park. I recall reading that last week, or was it 2 weeks ago, some 40 cars were broken into. Is there any more information about that happenning?
