The Nazi symbol was found on a Burlington Electric outbuilding on Pine Street, according to Police Chief Thomas Tremblay. Police took photographs of it as evidence, but no arrests were made.
The building has been vandalized with graffiti before, he said. “It’s a disturbing symbol, as opposed to the rest. All graffiti is harmful, but a symbol of this nature is more disturbing,” Tremblay said.
Andy Tarsy, a spokesman for ADL, said he had yet to see the swastika. Sometimes, the way a swastika is drawn gives clues to whether it was an impulse or a more purposeful act, he said.
as if there are any fin inzer people up there unless they are working or on vacation.
