In a $2 million lawsuit, Martin Gover claims his supervisor, Victor Schaller, subjected him "to persistent and virulent racist and anti-Semitic statements."

Two of Schaller's targets were Mayor Bloomberg and former Bear Stearns CEO Alan "Ace" Greenberg, whom he blasted as a "cheap Jew" who "gave out cheap gifts to all the employees at Christmas time," the suit says. "What can you expect from him, he's Jewish," the suit quotes Schaller as saying of the famed philanthropist.

Gover, 44, claims his problems started when his employers placed him in the Bear Stearns' Madison Avenue headquarters. Schaller was the senior manager – and spewed racist comments to Gover and anyone in earshot, the suit says. He complained that his Jewish clients were "nasty and cheap," and referred to African-Americans with the n-word when "discussing crime, living in New York City, welfare recipients and sports," the suit says. He complained that there were "too many Jews" at the investment giant. The suit says he also slurred "Jewish individuals in politics as being too liberal," including Bloomberg.

The suit says Schaller knew Gover was Jewish, and would make sarcastic comments about Jewish holidays to him.

Gover said he complained to a Bear Stearns vice president last December – and found himself being the one punished the next day, when he was moved from his cubicle "to a much less desirable location."

They don’t have to be anti-semetic. But if you don’t like what he says just walk away we are in gulas right? we have to remember that, and anti-semetic remarks help us remember!

why not use the system the way everyone else with a grievance does? Even though we are in galus doesn’t mean they have to get away with being anti-semetic!
