The fire was fueled by the large amounts of cooking oil and food packaging within the factory. Almost 30 staff members were evacuated from the two-storey building.
Firefighter Andy Pike said: "Luckily it was an isolated building so there was little risk of the fire spreading and luckily no one died or was injured and that's the way we want to keep it around here."
The alarm was raised by the firm's office manager, Vadrani Burgur. It took nearly an hour for fire services to bring the blaze under control, she said.
Fire crews used a 100ft high turntable ladder to examine whether there was any structural damage to the building. [Richmond and Twickenham Times]
