The graffiti, which included swastika and obscenities attacking Jews, were discovered by police at Wallington County Park, said Bergen County Police spokesman Kevin Hartnett. "We run into graffiti in the parks all the time, but we don't see these types of possible bias crimes often," he said.
There were 23 graffiti images – mostly curse words – on playground equipment and the bathroom. Some of the images seemed to target Jews, Hartnett said.
Investigators took photos of the graffiti, and county workers painted over it, he said. [North Jersey]
