The Avis Connect service, which is coming to three US cities in the next month, will cost customers around $11 per day. The device beams a wireless signal that can be used in the car, hotel, or anywhere else.
The service launched today at Avis’s San Francisco International Airport location, and in the next few weeks will also reach San Jose, Los Angeles, and Newark.
The test will expand in the third quarter of this year with rollout in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, New York, San Diego and Seattle. [Avis Corp]
