Williamsburg, Brooklyn NY – It has come to our attention that an the apartment building at 104 Ross Street in Willamsburg, Brooklyn, part of the Bedford Gardens apartment complex, has been without elevator service for the past 4 days.

The building is managed by Kraus Management who has a long history and a bad rap sheet for mistreating their tenants. Despite the numerous phone calls they received from the residents, they don’t seem inclined to fix it so fast.

We urge our readers affected or outraged by this, to continue to call 311 complaining against “Kraus Management”.

It’s a serious indignation and a tremendous security issue. This is a seven story building, with many seniors, adults and children dependent on the elevator! There was a firefighter who had to carry a senior down the stairs to get to the hospital, among other stories. Families leaving for the mountains had to struggle on the stairways in 95 degree heat, to schlep their packages out.

Mayor Bloomberg will be TODAY on his weekly radio show on WABC from 10-11 AM. Call him to complain dial at (800) 848-WABC, or email Mayor Bloomberg on air [email protected]

“Kraus Management” gets millions from the city for the Bedford Gardens.

not all elevator or boiler problems can be fixed quickly. however signs could be posted informing the tenants as to the nature of the problem and the estimated time it will take to get the elevator back online.

You wanna here about abusive building management? Just mention the name Dreyfus and let’s see how many comments you get.

Dreyfus is the most abusive landlord I have ever met. When women call him in the freezing cold of winter complaining there is no heat, and no hot water, and their babies are freezing, he yells at them and makes them cry.
