Albany, NY – Gov. Eliot Spitzer will give investigators travel records detailing his trips on state aircraft, an aide said Monday. That may force his rival, Senate Republican leader Joseph Bruno, to do the same in the latest political conflict between the leaders.

“We already have. No problem to do it again,” Spitzer spokesman Darren Dopp said of turning over records to any authority that investigates the issue.
On Sunday, the Times Union of Albany reported that records show Bruno used state aircraft to attend Republican fundraisers, a possible violation of state ethics codes and of state law. Bruno also used state police to drive him around Manhattan, according to the newspaper. [AP]
