Denver, CO +Security Kills Man with Gun in Governors Office+

Denver, CO – A man who walked into the offices of Gov. Bill Ritter with a gun and declared “I am the emperor” was shot and killed by a member of the governor’s security detail, Ritter was not injured.

The governor’s offices include a lobby and several other rooms. It was not immediately clear where the governor or the gunman was at the time.
The unidentified man walked into the office and said, “I am the emperor and I’m here to take over city government,” spokesman Evan Dreyer said. [AP]
