Jersey City, NJ – A Jersey City woman made a shocking discovery on her lawn this morning when she noticed a military rocket launcher lying in the grass.

Jersey City Police removed the launcher, and the incident is now being investigated by the Joint Terrorism Task Force and The Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Jersey City Police could not confirm whether it was actually operable.
But, sources tell CBS 2’s Scott Weinberger that it’s the kind of missile that can take down an aircraft and the area where the launcher was discovered is in or very near a flight path for Newark Liberty International Airport. [CBS]

VIN News Have confirmed that the Tube found was not operable, and was in no way danger to cause damage.
Someone (mistakenly) thought they were in the Gaza strip. The terrain
looks very similar. Barren land, with mosques on the horizon.
Newark & JERSEY CITY are MOSQUE-ville.
Good thing in was inoperable, imagine what could be done with a missle like that. You know in afghanastan they kept the Russians at bay for 10 years with those missles.
