Israel – Seven people were slightly hurt by an explosion at a chemical plant in southern Israel, which released poisonous substances into the atmosphere threatening people in the area.

The plant located in the industrial zone of Ramat-Hovav in the Negev desert damaged a tank containing organic phosphorus used in the production of fertilizers.
Police have evacuated people from the area. "Residents have been evacuated and roads sealed within a two-kilometer zone from the accident site," police said.
