    Woodridge, NY – Police caught two teens who broke into cars and spray-painted the neighborhood.

    Police said, a 17-year-old from Mountaindale and a 14-year-old from Woodridge used cans of blue spray paint to mark fences, rocks, trees and signs. The damage totaled more than $1,000 to the Woodlake Village.
    The teens also broke into four cars, stealing electronic equipment.

    The pair face charges of criminal mischief, a felony, and petty larceny, a misdemeanor.
    The 14-year-old was issued a ticket to appear on Aug. 23 in Sullivan County Family Court, while the 17-year-old is scheduled to return to the Fallsburg Town Court on Aug. 20. [Record]

    They had the chutzpah to come back again after what they did and were caught by the carteker.

    Initially, the police released them because they wer not caught in the act. But a follow up investigation lead to a search of their homes and their arrest.
    Kudos to Eddie the caretaker. Now if he can only get rid of those who use our tennis and basket ball courts for free and even chase off our own children….

    We should also sue their parents or the damage to our property and teach them a lesson that they are responsible for their kids.
