    Wallis was indicted in April, 2006 of abusing his infant son, leading to his death.
    His son Yitzhak Wallis was rushed to a hospital on the night of April 2, suffering from internal bleeding and from bleeding in the retinas of his eyes. Doctors found other signs indicating physical abuse, including teeth marks on his face. The case is still pending.

    Wallis has been free on bail since April 25, 2006, though he is still under night house arrest and is barred from leaving the country.

    Now, however, the news that Wallis was a father again, constitutes “a new circumstance which necessitates a reexamination of the terms of the release from jail,” wrote Nick Kauffman of the Jerusalem District Attorney’s Office.

    He is not being penalized, his bail is being revoked, he is already under house arrest. Are some really saying that he should be aloud to stay with a newborn? This guy is pending trial for killing a child. Have rachmanus on the new child, better be safe then sorry! Who cares that he is not convicted!

    here in the democratic country of the USA, a child abuse case is guilty, till proven innocent.
    this is a fact, massim bechol yom, here in williamsburg.

    He was never convicted. It goes against any fair democratic system of justice to penalize someone PRIOR to conviction.

    It is called innocent until proven guilty. A foreign concept to zsionists. But a Torah AND democratic country all abide by.

    You can’t stop a man from having children. Especially since he was never convicted.

    B H it seems that other posters agree that the Government is doing it’s job here.
    Remember that the fact seems to be that he was not tried and found guilty. The government has to watch and do whatever it feels is necesary to make the house safe for the child but we can not call the father a murderer or abuser unless thay try him and he is guilty.

    It’s no crime to have a child, but it would indeed be a crime for stand idly by and put a child in danger of having his head bashed in, as occurred with the previous child born into this family.

    It’s called “Lo S’Amod al dam rey’eicha.”

    B”h, that the government is stepping in where the community leaders did not.

    To Yidl;
    Obviously there is something that happened in this man’s house that is very scary. There are B’H’ thousnads of frum Torah children born every day in Israel with no attention from the Government. I think it is their job to keep an eye on this family and they are doing the right thing.

    What more do you expect from the zionists?

    Having a child, especially for a Torah Jew, is considered a crime by them. They are appaled at our population explosion.

    They have no system of justice. The man wasn’t even convicted.
