Brooklyn, NY – U.S. Rabbi Michael Feinberg defended a planned Arab school in New York on Monday, despite charges by a state legislator that the school could teach anti-Israeli extremism.

Addressing a rally in front of the New York Department of Education, Rabbi Feinberg called on elected officials to come forward in support of the Khalil Gibran International Academy, which is scheduled to open on September 4.
Rabbi Feinberg called the virulent Internet campaign against the school “the lowest of McCarthyite tactics.”
State Assemblyman Dov Hikind, however, slammed the school as a breeding ground for extremism.
“It will not, as suggested, be a hope for peace; it is a blueprint for anti-Israel and anti-U.S. extremism,” Hikind said, adding that the school has been endorsed by radical groups. [ap]

I hate to say Loshon Horah but it is clear that this guy is a communist leftist with no connection to orthodox jewery. Two youtube videos show him in questionable forums and one is in a church.

I think the Department of Education should require that any school that promotes suicide bombing must require that each student engage in “live” practice runs in a controlled environment as a condition to graduation.

This school which embraces the teachings of Islamic terror will produce ‘sleeper cells’ waiting to explode in Brooklyn. This school must be stopped and everyone should be on the bandwagon of Hikinds. If you don’t like how he does his business, then have your shul, organization, political liason open their mouths and quickly to stop this dreaded disease before it desends on Brooklyn.
O. gevald – Sundays crowd on CIA was a celebration of Pakistanian Independence Day which they’ve done for over 15 years. Indian Independance Day which is the same day is celebrated in manhattan.
This had nothing whatsover to do with the islamic school or Yiddin being away, but marks the week that the Brittish gave them independance in 1949.
He is the Director of the Greater New York Labor-Religion Coalition. I did not find any mention of an affiliation with a shul or temple.
They had huge demonstration on Sunday knowing that all the Yiddelach will be away on the weekend. They tied up Ocean Parkway at 18th Ave all day.
Who is this “Rabbi”, and whose side is he on? Views such as those that will be infused into this school have no place in the Board of Ed.
