South Fallsburg, NY +Working Fire at Pines Hotel+ Multiple Fire Departments are responding to a working hotel fire which is a 2nd alarm on arrival and fully involved in the vacant Pines Hotel at Laurel Avenye at Laural Park Road. The site of numerous suspicious fires over the past few months, the latest this past Thursday.

Mutual aid from Woodbury, Hurleyville and Loch Sheldrake to the scene. Also requesting fire investigation team.
Officials from the nearby yeshiva are worried, due to the South Fallsburg Yeshiva isn't far from the hotel. Also across from the hotel's entrance road are wood-frame town houses that are home to a number of families whose children study at the yeshiva.
