Fallsburg, NY – Last night a large fire swept through the Krula Bungalow Colony on Route 42 in South Fallsburg.

The blaze completely destroyed two bungalows – before the fire department was able to bring the fire under control.
No injuries were reported.
i used to work there when it was the elm shade many many years ago. It is ahame to even think I have family that lives up there all yr round

Yes it the old Elm, Shade. what a shame that people like o.gevald are accusing chasidim with their nonsense. non of the old people were there last summer, it was a beautiful chasidishe crowd making a kidush hashem.

Just curious, but did these bungalows belong to some of the original non-chasidic crowd that’s been going there for years before Krula took over and didn’t conform to Krula’s standards???
