Sullivan County, NY – Hundreds of Verizon customers in the Rock Hill area of Sullivan County are without telephone and internet after a truck knocked down several cables and poles this afternoon.

It's not clear where the accident occurred, says a spokesperson for Verizon, but that damage caused 30 sections of cable and at least five poles fall into water.
The spokesperson says crews have been dispatched to the area, but that it could be at least a week before all service is restored. [Recordonline]
I think that the wireless customers of verizon in that area should recive unlimited usage of their devices until the problem is fixed
