The unpublicized fundraiser surprised some and irritated others in the Orthodox Jewish community, which is largely Republican with many supporting Clinton’s potential rival, GOP candidate and former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani.
“I thought we’d have someone who supported the war a little more,” said Yossi Retter, 29. “It’s surprising, really.”
The host, developer David Lichtenstein, declined to comment when reached at his home on Autumn Road, where Clinton later arrived. Though Lichtenstein owns the Lakewood home, his permanent residence is in Monsey, NY. The event was closed to reporters.
The former New York City mayor has a lot of backing from Lakewood’s Orthodox residents, many of whom have family and friends in Brooklyn.[app]
i know for a fact that david lichtenstein gives more to tzeddaka then he gives to polotitions and evreyone is entitled to there own opnion if they want to support hillary clinton they have that right
why dont we start making the kollel like colleges

I guess you have no inking of how hard it is to run a Yeshiva or get funding for Torah. Thousand of Yougerlite and bnei Torah have a place to learn do to their efforts. What have you done to help these Bnei Torah? Badmouthing the Yeshiva is a Charpah and smells of Kinah.
No one is saying that all their decisions are perfect nor are the fund-raisers the shpitz of gadlus but declaring the whole Mosad as a politically motivated orgnization is wrong.

Rudy on the otherhand has the support of the majority of the balabatim and yesivaleit.
Do not let your heart be troubled that some people in Lakewood have lost their mind.
In Kamus (amount of people) Rudy wins hands down by a landslide.
It is the eichus (amount of $)that went to Clinton is what troubles me.
Do not let the actions of a few dictate the policy of the majority.
