    New York, NY – Earlier this year, the Bloomberg administration decided to crackdown on civil servant parking permits by 20 percent.

    As a follow up, Councilmember Tony Avella introduced legislation (Intro 744) that would require the city create a public record of every permit on its website.
    There are some exceptions, according to the bill, including those who are victims of domestic violence. [Gotham Gazette]

    Does this mean evry pd permit you will know who the cop is

    I sthere any way for me to check online what the official status of my front garden is? I mean maybe the previous owner changed it to cement illegally, and I can run into problems later on.

    Anyone?
