Leiv sarim u’melachim beYad Hashem, but it’s up to us, and us alone – through Torah, Avodah, uGemilas Chasadim, to influence Hashem.

If he is elected president it is very bad news for this country – Obama is an empty suit – with Socialist/Marxist objectives on the economic and social basis of this country.

In plain English he will be a disaster from which we will NEVER be able to recover.

we have to support him all the way. We have to show that even he is black and the black are the minority you can get far. The same with the jews.

hey pupa rav From K.J.:

that is a very moronic statement. we should support a person who has no experience, has friend’s and advisers that hate our country, and even has a picture of Che Guevara a radical terrorist hanging in his campaign headquarters? Great idea!!!

Mazel tov Barack Obama! You should be matzliach. I love it how so many frum people literally survive on the basis of Democratic programs like Medicaid and then badmouth them all the time. Remember that if it were up to the Republicans everyone would be subject to the cold amoral whims of the market no matter what — no helping hands, no subsidied healthcare or housing, etc. — what would all the kollel families do?

anon 10:46- you have unmitigated gall for making these democrats (should be called demon-rats)seem like benevolent creatures, and republicans as cold and heartless. If the democrats give out goodies (welfare, food stamps, etc) it is for one purpose only- to have a dependent on government permanent under class who will keep voting Democrat, and that way they can keep their cushy jobs and fringe benefits. They couldn’t care less about the poor or under-privleged. The absolute proof of this is that they want and need to keep these people down in the dumps.

Murray—Republicans give out goodies to the rich and powerful and turn the country over to the Saudis (Bush’s great friends). I’ll take my chances with the Dems.

I see all the people needing the lib handouts posted here. The Republicans – moreso the Conservatives – beleive in handouts too HOWEVER we also beleive you should do something about it so that you dont stay on public assistance. The libs want you on handouts so you have to keep voting lib because you NEED the libs. The country would be better without liberals.

Anon 834,

Another stupid comment made by someone who has no idea what he/she is saying. Where is the President giving things over the Saudis?

By the way Anon 834, I think you are earning way too much money so you should now give 25% of what you are left with to the guy down the block. Did that make sense to you? Thats what Hussein wants to do with your money.

Why don’t all of you admit it? Whenever someone says a racist remark agains Judaism we are up in arms and rightly so. But the REAL reason so many frum people are against Obama is simply because of the color of his skin!

I am ashamed of my people! Judaism is about helping those less fortunate, accepting others are different and shouldn’t be persecuted or discriminated against for their beliefs. How do you think we have been so successful in this country without those “Liberal” values?

Instead, all I read is about castigating someone and falsely calling him things he is not. For one thing Barak Obama wouldn’t make the same mean spirited remarks about Jews that are made here about him. Truely he is an honest man with honorable ideas about government (as is John McCain). His ideas of bringing people together protecting the environment for our children, and reducing taxes on the middle class are all things we should agree with. True, I don’t agree with him on everything, yet he certainly will do a good job as President if elected. Some of the remarks made here are really below the belt, if said against Jews we would make a federal case out of it, so why is it all right to say the same remarks about others? What happened to the Torah and its ways of peace, deracheha darchei noam, v’chol netivateha shalom.

thanks, but no thanks

You , David are the big racist here. Indulge me for a moment- You are a racist and want Obama because of his skin color, and guilt on your part. I could care less about Obama’s race, theres plenty of Real things wrong with his stand on issues. Was it racist of religious Jews to rescue thousands of blacks from Ethiopia, and help settle them in. Furthermore, my Shul (Orthodox, and politically speaking-Conservative: has hosted and supported Black candidates if and when their positions reflect our values, the skin color never was a factor. Everyone I know wanted Alan Keys for president–last I checked his complexion was darker than your pal Hussein Obama.

So, why do you call him by his middle name Hussein? To try to build a connection to Saddam Hussein in peoples’ minds? He calls himself Barak, and in spite of whatever you keep saying, he is NOT a moslem. Sure sounds like racism to me to keep calling someone something he isn’t.
