    POST OFFICES Express Mail only; main post office on Eighth Avenue at 32nd Street is open.

    BANKS Option to close.

    SANITATION No pickups, street cleaning or recycling. Alt. side parking suspended but meters rules are in effect

    FINANCIAL MARKETS Stock and bond markets closed.

    TRANSPORTATION New York City subways and buses and the Long Island Rail Road will operate on a Sunday schedule. Metro-North trains will operate on a holiday schedule.

    No mail tomorrow (MLK B’day) and Tuesday (Inaugeration Day)…resume normal service on Wednesday…FEDEX regular hours both days

    According to the mta website, mta subways and buses are on a regular wekday schedule.

    LIRR was super packed going into penn today, they should operate normal schedules. ridiculous!
