Albany – Gov. Paterson To Take Calls From Public

Albany – Governor Paterson’s campaign said last night that he’ll be hosting a “Supporter Conference Call” to answer email questions and phone questions from the public.

He’s holding it Thursday at 6 p.m.

You can go to his campaign Web site here to submit questions or comments. People who submit questions or comments by midnight tonight will be invited to the call.

Earlier today, Governor Paterson was on CNN’s American Morning to discuss Barack Obama’s inauguration, and the impact that he observed that it was having on the country and in New York. “His inauguration is the real stimulus package,” the Governor remarked, explaining that Americans are ready for hope and optimism, as well as a renewed commitment to service.

When Barack Obama takes the oath of office tomorrow to become the 44th President of the United States, it will signal the beginning of a new era—one of openness and communication, of accountability and results.

And just as President Obama has announced that he is “throwing the doors open” at the White House, Governor Paterson is working to insure that New Yorkers have their voices heard, get their questions answered, and that they hear directly from their Governor on the issues that matter most to them.

We’re excited to announce our first “Supporter Conference Call” with Governor Paterson will take place this Thursday, Jan 22nd at 6:00pm EST.
