I think it’s a good idea. One of the effects of a drawn out divorce process is the fighting that goes on. In many States where they don’t have uncontested divorces, you basically have to make things up and prove that your spouse is evil and then you start with the dirty laundry.

I read that everyone here likes this idea but for yidden, I don’t think this is a good substitute for goint to the beth din and obtaining Gittin…..
How about making better choices in getting married and save the hour. I guess the kids don’t require much consideration in that hour.
