Lakewood, NJ – A fire at 639 Seventh St. on Friday damaged a house and spread across the backyard fence.

A resident at the house, Miriam Flagler, 39, told police that she ran outside after smelling smoke. No one was injured in the blaze.
The fire ripped through the rear section of the house and spread across debris and fallen leaves in the backyard to the wooden fence on the property, said Patrolman David Silberstein, who arrived with Capt. Gregory Miick.
The house was gutted by the fire, and flames damaged siding on adjacent homes.
Seventh Street was closed for four hours due to the emergency. Police cordoned off the site, and people crowded at the edges of the caution tape to watch the action.
The cause of the fire has not been determined. Sgt. Steve Allaire said the fire is being investigated by the Ocean County fire marshal and the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.
Very said story…… An extremely chosheve family were living there. A family member told me that a lot of his chiddushim that he wrote were mirracously spared, and he is immensely happy.but otherwise they lost eveything. May Hash-m replenish everything they lost.
