The Forrest Hills organization serves some 40,000 Bukharian Jews, according to the Bloomberg campaign.
This is the second on-line endorsement Team Bloomberg has rolled out in the past week. The first came last week from the Vaad Harabbonim of Flatbush Political Action Committee. It’s also the third formal announcement of support for the mayor coming from a religious leader (the first being the Rev. A.R. Bernard of the Christian Cultural Center).
Bloomberg is the only mayoral candidate rolling out endorsements on a regular basis to date.
On the Democratic side, Comptroller Bill Thompson has landed the support of at least one local political club, but hasn’t held any big endorsement events yet. Rep. Anthony Weiner’s biggest announcement so far was to inform supporters (via email) that he might not even run.
Below is footage of Boris Kandov, president of the Bukharian Jewish Congress, who praises the mayor, a “busy man,” for taking time out of his schedule to come and seek the group’s support.
What does he say at 0:32?
Bukharian Jewish Congress Endorses Bloomberg For Mayor of Bucharia!
Shame on you for endorsing Bloomberg. This Mayor is completly out of touch with the needs of the people in the City of NY
How much money did they got from that dictater bloomberg
Oh, L-rd. They could not get an Americanized, sophisticated Bukharian Jew prepare this endorsement clip?
