E H, 49, will be arraigned this afternoon on five counts of attempted murder, attempted arson, burglary and other charges for trying to set a fire inside her estranged husband’s home in the exclusive enclave of Hewlett Bay Park.
Nassau County police said H.. walked into her husband’s home yesterday at 4:30 a.m.
Once inside, she poured charcoal lighter fluid on the floor of one of the bedrooms, while five people slept inside.
Police said the people inside the home included a five-month old baby.
H…, who lives in Woodmere, fled the home before lighting the fluid, tossing the can in the bushes located in front of the home.
Nassau police said a neighbor who saw the woman called 911. At the same time, H…. husband, who has not been identified, also called cops after hearing his dog bark and become ill.
H.. was arrested a short time later.
Hewlett Bay Park, which has a population of roughly 500, is usually included as one of the Five Towns in the southwestern corner of Nassau County.
what is halachically wrong with exposing the name of a rasha who would kill her family while they are sleeping?
I was on her side until I read about the baby. I am sure he deserved what he got.
If she’s not an ex wife she will soon be. Ex wives can be vindictive but this one took it a little too far.
According to news sources the five people in the house were: her ex-husband, his girlfriend, their five month old baby, and 2 older children believed to be the ‘alleged’ arsonist’s. Part of me understands her wanting to torch the ex and his girlfriend (and even the baby — it’s probably the existence of the baby that pushed her over the edge) but that she would do this with her own children in the house?!! I don’t care if she is mentally unstable, lock her up.
