Families with children who are gay said they came together to show how important the bill is for them.

“I came to support my daughter because all my other children are married,” said Anne Peterpaul, 77, of Allenhurst.

Her daughter, Luanne, has been with her partner for 25 years but does not receive the same rights as her siblings, said Peterpaul.

Decent and God-fearing citizens demand that the New Jersey legislature
follow the lead of the New York Senate by rejecting the lunacy and wickedness
of the homosexual lobby which is destroying society.

The overwhelming majority of Americans vehemently oppose this
immorality. In fact, most normal people all over the world are in opposition to it.

In fact, most people understand that marriage is exclusively between
a man and woman. Thus, the New Jersey legislature has no business
trampling on the cherished beliefs of the electorate.

It is a shame that our lawmakers are even considering such folly.

first of all- the title of the article says that there were supporters AND opposers there so that guy could be an opposer.

also, WHO CARES??? do people really believe that if the bill is not passed, people aren’t gay?? of course they still are and the bills don’t mean anything. whether it’s legal or not, it’s assur; since when did new jersey law have any halachik ramifications???

    gays will be gay…

Someone should remind the gay rights folks to be careful what they wish for ’cause they may get it. Some of the most ardent supporters of same-sex marriage are the divorce lawyers. Can you say “community property”?
