Jason Shelowitz has been posting service advisory signs in subway stations calling out the most disgusting habits.

An NYC transit spokesman said Thursday that it’s against the rules to post signs in the subway stations system. The fine is $25.

Shelowitz interviewed 100 friends and riders to pinpoint the 10 most revolting subway behaviors. The list included eating, seating priority and noise pollution.

One sign reads: “Keep your hands to yourself, perv.” It is signed by the Metropolitan Etiquette Authority.

The New York Post reported on his mission in Thursday’s edition.

Is that really what the sign says? How did they find out it was him? Good for him for trying.

I think that this sign only gives ideas for people.
And bring people to do not good stuff.

The MTA should have printed signs like this a long time ago. They should keep the signs up and thank the person for making them!!! I guess the MTA does not have manners either!!! Some things are never taught — they are learned in the HOME!!!

He just needs to say it is a new art project, and I am sure the mayor will support him. It’s no different that the east side waterfall, the fake jumping statues, or the central park curtains.

The signs look professional and the MTA should have done the same years ago. He should be given a key to the CIty. He did more for the CIty than the NY Yankees or the POPE or the others who get keys.

The thing that I find most irksome is sitting next to people who can’t afford a decent set of isolating earbuds. I like rap music as much as the next guy but not when it is scratching through someone elses headphones!

The losers in the MTA should pay him to hang signs about their rules. He has nice graphics. But, I agree he shouldn’t be allowed to do this on his own. Being public property doesn’t mean the public can do what they want on the property.

It is true that the role model of the MTA is horrific. People who have absolutely no consideration for human dignity. Let me be clear. They have consideration for safety but not for dignity. The advertisements they put up are an affront to decency. As if the riders were a pile of rats that they can throw anything at. At least 25% of the time the conductor is blasting loud enough to blow your ears out which causes a very unsettling trip. So no wonder why a certain group of riders blast their music too. My first suggestion is that whoever screens the advertisements should be forced to have them in their living room so they can learn how repulsive they are. Secondly anyone who can hear music that the other is playing should be awarded ten dollars from the player. Let the authorities go around collecting the money for two weeks and that will end the problem.
