The third-floor walk-up is near Columbia’s campus in the Morningside Heights neighborhood.
It has two bedrooms. The agent, Dalila Bella, concedes that one of them is not technically a bedroom because it doesn’t have a window.
A new book by New Yorker editor David Remnick describes the apartment as a dump when Obama lived there. But Bella says it has been recently renovated.
