Mark Heutlinger, the administrator for Temple Emanu-El, on 1 E. 65th St., reported the letter to the NYPD, according to police.
The letter, according to the police report, was addressed to Rabbi David M. Posner and said that the “beloved place of worship Temple Eman-El will be detonated on Rosh Hashanah, September 9.”
Missionaries of Charity, a society founded by Mother Teresa that has a Bronx branch, signed the letter with the salutation “Sincerely.”
The letter stated that “Archbishop Timothy M. Dolan and Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly know me. Please come as soon as you can.”
Calls to Heutlinger and Posner were not immediately returned.
Want a warning to a reform ‘temple’ of paradise lost? Keep the sabbath or get rid of your degree in Judaism because the rent is high and the coverage is low and Hashem is not your friend but your commander and foolishness doesnt stick, it flies. Get a grip and call your Real rabbi from G-d because a truth is emerging that says the degree of hatred in the world is directly proportional to Jews who keep sabbath and all of you cream puff salespeople are eating cookies and baking flowers and sending baked beans to the Orthodox Jews and guess what kiddos, its not even kosher. So get a board and get a gun and walk into a Shul of Respect and pay the price. Your head is on the line and you are throwing trash in the incindiary of life! Baruch Hashem
#1 Considering that you have just spent several days in shul welcoming the New Year and supposedly considering your misdeeds, it hasn’t taken you long to start spewing hatred once again. If you think that the crazies who send these threats care whether or not they are targeting frum Jews, you are sadly mistaken. To them a Jew is Jew is a Jew. They have no idea of who any of the Rebbes are and if a person attends Chabad or a temple and they don’t care. It is people like yourself who prevent Klal Yisroel from unity. Also, remember that many of the major philanthropists to all branches of Judaism attend temples. Funny how you don’t seem to object to accepting large donations from non Frum people but feel the eternal need to keep criticizing.
And just which branch of Judaism does the first commenter belong to, I wonder.
#1 there is only one ‘branch’
#4 there are indeed different branches (agree or disagree with their ways) but remember we are ALL from the same tree.
#2 ..when one points out at a certain group what they are, what they stand for and you dont like it ,its not hatred.yes ,the truth hurts but its not hatred… and by the the way since these movements dont believe in torah min hashumayim and etc etc ..why do they observe rosh hashana, where is it mentioned rosh hashanh is for repentance etc nowhere in the bible, which they dont belive anyeway
#5 yes we are all from the same tree, the first human, Adam Hurishon( if you believe in the torah, which i doubt)..so what does that make you jewish, christian, muslim etc??
