In a pre-emptive strike, Benjamin Lawsky, general counsel to the Cuomo campaign, said: “Andrew Cuomo accepted the Newsday/News 12 invitation to debate yesterday afternoon. We look forward to a vigorous debate of the issues that matter to New Yorkers. To say that the Andrew Cuomo has not agreed to debate is demonstrably false and misleading.”

Cuomo has a *very* short fuse, Paladino just needs to learn what buttons to push and the boy prince will melt down on live TV. I can’t wait.

Is Cuomo agreeing to the debate that includes 3 other third party candidates, or the one on one debate with Paladino sponsored by PBS? Does anyone know which?

There will be 5 third-party candidates in the debate, as follows:

Howie Hawkins (Green Party), Warren Redich (Libertarian Party), Charles Barron (Freedom Party), Kristin Davis (Anti-Prohibition Party, Jimmy McMillan (Rent is 2Damn High Party).
