“I’m not making any news here,” State Department spokesman Philip Crowley told a press conference. “It is a state for the Jewish people. It is a state for other citizens of other faiths as well.”

Netanyahu said Monday that Israel would agree to extend a freeze in West Bank settlement construction if the Palestinians recognize Israel as the nation state of the Jewish people.

“What Prime Minister Netanyahu said yesterday is, in essence a core demand of the Israeli government, which we support,” Crowley said. “The recognition that Israel is a part of the region – acceptance by the region of the existence of the state of Israel as the homeland of the Jewish people – is what they want to see through this negotiation.”

Crowley stressed that the US was encouraging the continuation of direct talks. “This is not a one-way street. It is a two-way street. The prime minister is offering something and asking for something. It is
perfectly within the rights of the Palestinian Authority and President Abbas to say there’s something I need and there’s something I’m willing to give,” he said.

“We would hope that the Palestinians would do the same thing and, through this ongoing dialogue, we’ll gain the commitment on both sides to continue and to resume in these negotiations.”

Wonder if Obama would agree with what Crowley said or if Obama even knew. Hope Crowley doesn’t end up as toast.

So, Mr. Crowley, isn’t it about time that Congress declare the United States the homeland of the Christian People who make up 95% of the population, as opposed to the State of Israel where Jews make up only 75-80% of the population?!

Finally. However, we don’t need Washington to confirm what HaShem Yisborach has already decreed. We just have to be zocheh through Torah and Mitzvohs to see to it that it happens.

Keep in mind , that he may have meant a Jewish state with the ’67 borders and Jerusalem, chas v’shalom , being the capitol of the “palestinian” state.

To #2 - The USA is certainly not a Christian nation. There are Jews, Buddhists, Shintoists, Zen followers, Hindus, Bahais, etc., which live in the USA. Those who profess to be Christians are not 95%, but somewhere in the area of 70%. One’s religion is not required on the Census, nor is it required on U.S. Passports.

#5 ….we are talking about the practical POLITICAL aspects of government not theology.
You know perfectly well how the so-called Jewish organizations would react in this country. You can’t have it both ways. If you want a racist Zionist medina with now no two state solution you’re going to have to figure out what to do with 4 million Palestinians short of mass extermination.

Question remains: “What does “Jewish” MEAN in this context? Does anybody know?

The American Founding Fathers were bound together in a deist belief, not Christianity, Judaism or any other religion. Israel is a nation, a Jewish nation, just as there are 24 Arab nations of Islam…Israel deserves to be recognized by the world as well before the entire west is sucked up!

The only thing that the USA accounts for in the world is armaments. It has lost the technology lead, and is almost falling into moral bancruptsy
