Kenmore, NY – While defending himself against accusations of being a homophobe Buffalo businessman-turned-candidate-for-governor Carl Paladino mentioned that he has gay people working for him including a gay nephew. Since then that nephew has been staying out of the public eye.

Eyewitness News has tried unsuccessfully to contact Paladino’s nephew. Then on Tuesday, some New York City-based newspaper employees went even further in their efforts to reach the nephew by staking out his Kenmore home. Someone called police and the photographers were told to stay back from the house.

Paladino was angry couple of weeks ago when he said a New York City-based photographer was staking out his daughter’s home. Eyewitness News has reached out to Paladino’s campaign to see if there is any comment about this latest stakeout of a relative, but so far the campaign has not responded.

There will be several more “Paladino surprises” in the next week or 10 days that will make the Republicans wish they never heard of “Paladino”.
