New York – It’s already been a rough week for Republican Carl Paladino’s New York gubernatorial campaign and it looks like the hits are going to keep on coming.

In a previously unreleased video obtained by Hotline On Call, Paladino has some choice words for Attorney General Eric Holder when asked about holding terrorist trials in New York City.
Questioner: “If you were the chief executive of New York, what would your response be to the attorney general of the United States deciding to hold terrorist trials in New York?”
Paladino: “F*** him. F*** him.”
The video was captured at a town hall meeting on March 26 in Tappan, NY.
Paladino’s remarks came after the the White House abandoned a plan to try Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in New York City at the end of January. The plan sparked protests and eventually the White House decided against against it.
After Paladino’s remarks about homosexuality on Sunday, this is another example of the Republican’s unpredictability on the stump. It may also explain why former Rep. Rick Lazio (R) didn’t take him seriously in the GOP gubernatorial primary.
AOL news the Surge Desk is not convinced and writes “Notice the discrepancy in voice when the camera pans away from the questioner back toward Paladino. The second utterance of “F— him” clearly conflicts with Paladino’s actual voice as he begins his response. Any audience member may be responsible for the comment, which clearly had the room doubled over in laughter.”
All I can say is so far I agree with everything he says. He has my vote.
There were many of us who “cursed out” the AG for his actions. Granted that Mr. Paladino could have chosen nicer words but I’d agree with his sentiment. To even think to hold the trials in NY was unconscionable, so Mr. Paladino’s response , though vulgar and should have been stated differently, really summed up a lot of people’s reaction to Mr. Holder.
And when people like him (Including Sharron Angle and Christine O’Donnell) with all their weared statements, win republican primaries, we have to think what’s going on with the voters in that party? Are they rational?
Carl objects to Cuomo’s taking his daughter to a gay parade, yet Carl uses the “f” word at a speech where kids are? What kind of role model is he?
In response to No:3. All we have to do is look and see what Obama and his cadre of radical Democrats have brought us to know that we need to change things right now. We need to bring a sense of fiscal responsibility and pride back into our country. We don’t need a president who apologizes for America’s greatness and power. We don’t need lackies who go along with this socialist program that is tearing away at our democratic republic. We don’t need a president who treats allies like Israel like an enemy, and kisses up to tyrannical Islamic dictatorships. When Obama ran , he ran on a slogan of hope and change. I hope we change.
Tell Paladino that his language offends me. I seriously consider a candidates personal moral standards when I vote, and this man has failed the test.
I think most VIN readers have mad up their minds about Paladino and any more stories showing how dysfunctional the man is won’t change any minds. The polls are showing Cuomo increasing his lead at at time when Republicans in other states are growing their leads. All this shows is that even the most right-wing zealots have their limits and Paladino is clearly more than just a clown…he is a bizarre, crude and hateful character who will set back the Republican party in New York for a generation at a time when they might have actually won. The ebeshter indeed does work in strange ways.
so hes a little strong!
hes still right, nyc….
Although I don’t agree with how he says things, he isn’t afraid to speak his mind. He’s the unpolitician and that’s what the state needs.
