Tucson, AZ – President Barack Obama is pleading for Americans not to use Saturday’s deadly rampage as an occasion “to turn on one another.”

The president, speaking Wednesday night at a memorial in Tucson, Ariz., exhorted Americans to communicate in “a way that heals, not a way that wounds.”
Six people were killed and 13 wounded in the attack, including Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, who was shot in the head. Authorities say Giffords was the target of the assault. A suspect is in custody.
Obama spoke at the end of a rousing service in a crowded University of Arizona arena. His remarks alluded to the angry rhetoric that has taken hold in the aftermath of the shooting. Liberals and conservatives have quarreled over whether violent political imagery was a contributing factor in the attack.
Interesting spin: the Fort Hood massacre – the perpetrator was a lunatic; the Tucson massacre – violent political imagery. The reverse happens to be true.
Dear President; Don’t give this speech to the entire country. Please just tell your democrats to cool it and calm down a few notches.
He wants words that heal? OK Mr Community Agitator, you ready? Band-Aid, Neosporin, Tylenol, Advil, just to name a few.
