Firefighters says none of the injuries was life-threatening in the accident Monday night in Littleton, near the Vermont border. Fire chief Joe Mercieri says the passengers were Korean citizens touring the U.S. and Canada.
Light snow had fallen in the area, bringing with it intermittent fog.
A representative of the bus operator, Big Boy Coach Inc. of Flushing, N.Y., says he was on his way to the site to pick up the passengers late Monday. He says police told him that most of the passengers who had been taken to hospitals were expected to be released soon.
Passengers were Korean citizens touring US and Canada.
The only reason that these so-called bus drivers lose control, is because they were either speeding, or driving too fast for the weather conditions at hand, or they were distracted or fatigued. The public would not tolerate such bad habits, regarding airline pilots. However, it seems to tolerate not only bad bus drivers, but buses with defective brakes, retreated tires, no seat belts in the buses, etc.
What’s going on with all these buses all of a sudden?
i drove for a living. many times i was fatigued. i drove a black car. many times i would pull over at the side of the raod and nap.
i then got smart and drove for NBC-Universal. i put in more hours than u want to know. when fatigued i did the one step. that is in one step i turned off the nextel to the dispatcher…
fatigue can kill.
BTW i really doubt these buses are on retreads. and the dispatcher WILL threaten you with your job..
Finally: i worked with a crew of 28. i was the only light skinned dude. i loved it. they taught me a lot. one thing for sure they said. always bring money to work so if u dont make any u have some to bring home to the wife anyway.
many people work fatigued. even cops, firefighters, train motormen/ladies…everyone. it’s the economy.

The intriguing thing about all of these bus accidents is that they all involve oriental citizens. Can’ t help but wonder the message thereof….
