maybe if they sell it for medicinal purposes they would have enough money to finish paving broadway in monticello
thats a good movment monticelo is a heavy drug area lets hope there will be less crime that area not only in the winter in the summer too
This is such BS!
7,000 plants would NEVER yield “10 million dollars” worth of buds! It would have to yield over a full pound per plant, which is impossible, unless you have 3 1,000 watt, high pressure sodium lights PER plant, which
wouldn’t be cost effective to run!!!
This is an example of the government trying to win support for a drug policy that doesn’t work! Besides that,, illegal immigrants NEVER grow “high grade marijuana”, because it’s very difficult, very time consuming and takes a PhD level education to do!
Crazy People just legalize this stupid Marijuana whats the big deal? it’s just weed not the end of the world
It amazes me how in such poor areas those selling illegal drugs can do so well. I would guess that the sparce areas of the county make good places to hide things.
#1 don’t worry I was up in Monticello about a month ago and Broadway’s roadway is looking better, even with that insane island that runs down the middle. There is hardly anyone there to see it though…the village of Monticello’s main shopping strip is a ghost town. I think the island was either a federal or state requirement (for funding) since Broadway is part of route 42 (a state road).
“Ten million dollars in marijuana” is drug-bust math for “half a pound”.

I’m proud to own a share in a LEGAL, licensed, medical marijuana grow facility that produces medicine for cancer patients. It is unfortunate that medical marijuana is legal in ONLY 16 states, and there are no standards for growers. I insist that all of my plants grow to full term with organic fertilizers and are flushed for 2 full weeks before harvest to insure that there is absolutely no chemical residue in the buds. We also destroy any plants that have even the slightest amount of botritis (white mold), so smokers don’t get sick.
