Amsterdam – The Dutch national archive says it has gathered information about the arrests and deportations of some 9,000 Dutch Jews who died in Nazi concentration camps in World War II.

The project was carried out by journalist Ad van Liempt and team of investigators at the archive who were allowed access to the dossiers of 250 collaborators who have since died.
The dossiers centered around the “Henneicke Column,” which tracked down Jews with police help, often paying money for tips.
Records of convicted World War II collaborators are sealed under Dutch privacy laws. Results of the project are only available to victims’ families.
An estimated 110,000 Dutch Jews died in the Holocaust, including teenage diarist Anne Frank. Around 30,000 survived.
In spite of Anne Frank the Dutch had a Hollaendische SS division all volunteers and the Dutch had enough antisemites. It is a duality in the Netherland. Jews escaped the Spanish inquisition and I was with Dutch prisoners in Buchenwald and on young prisoner died the day after the liberation as a result of the rich food the American Army dispensed, elbow macaroni and pork
(Reply to #1 ): My grandfather told me that the liberating armies offered him rich food too. He was in Auschwitz. He turned it down. A nurse told him to just have a little toast and to be careful not to overload his fragile system. He listened to her and survived. My father posted last week wishing you a happy Pesach! I wish you the same!
Is there a list of those names. My mothers family perished in the war.
