White House press secretary Jay Carney said the White House is mulling whether to make the photo public, but he said officials are concerned about the “sensitivity” of doing so. Carney said there is a discussion internally about the most appropriate way to handle but “there is not some roiling debate here about this.”

Asked if President Barack Obama is involved in the photo discussion, Carney said the president is involved in every aspect of this issue.

I bet that it will eventually be released. That only makes sense to me. That we are infringing on the rights of the deceased not to show his photograph in that condition is really irrelevant considering his acts on humanity. And I am sure we will see it, if not now someday later.

Most Americans and people around the world with access to the internet have seen enough “reality of life” graphic photographs that nothing phases people anymore. Who hasn’t seen half blown off skull and splattered brains on the walls before? When they released mangled body photos of Uday and Kusay they did not look pretty at all. Never understood why people get “sensitive” to “graphic” images. They’ll get over it.

Like watching people jump to their deaths from the WTC wasn’t bad? What about all the videos we were treated with of what went on in & around the WTC on 911?

I think they should publicize the picture together with a picture of a person splashing on the floor after jumping from the twin towers….

What is it with this administration, everything is foot dragging and stalling. First we have them wanting to put the terrorist on trial in lower Manhattan. They took years before they finally said they wouldn’t do it. Then dragging out releasing the birth certificate for years. Now this nonsense about releasing the picture.

    We fed up.
