New York, NY – A judge has denied a preliminary injunction to stop the construction of a Brooklyn mosque that had been defaced with graffiti.

An opposition group, Bay People, said they will appeal the judge’s decision.
The Daily News reports that the words “He is dead” and happy faces had been spray-painted on the plywood walls of the construction site after news of Osama bin Laden’s death.
It says the graffiti was painted over on Wednesday.
Muslim American Society director Allowey Ahmed said the ‘hateful act’ will not stop the project from going forward.
I saw the writing is was not that noticeable unless one looked at it. Maybe is was a reaction to a press release that said a “Muslim American Society Official Calls bin Laden a “Visionary”
However if one reads what was written is was taken out of context.
It doesn’t pay to mess with them. They are nice people.
