New York, NY – Details of the New York Police Department ticket-fixing scandal have come to light in a Bronx courtroom during an unrelated drunken-driving trial.

Officer Julissa Goris admitted in court that she had once fixed two tickets for her mother and her boyfriend’s cousin. The testimony came in the trial of a lawyer charged with driving under the influence following a December 2006 holiday party.
Goris was called to testify because she was the arresting officer.
Prosecutor Allyson Kohlmann asked Goris if she knew it was against the rules to fix tickets. She said “Yes.”
She also said the district attorney’s office has told her she will not be prosecuted for her role in the city’s ongoing ticket-fixing scandal.
The defense claims that Goris is not credible because of her ticket-fixing.

what was the outcome of the drunk driver case did he win based on questioning her credebility? as this would open a pondoras box since all(most) cops fix tkts if this would bring their credibility to question you can throw out alot of cases
