Worshippers arriving to pray at the synagogue in the rabbi’s house on Sunday morning were forced to undergo stricter security checks.

A source in the rabbi’s home, who confirmed the report, said that almost every worshipper arriving at the house was checked, even those with a “regular” haredi appearance.

According to the source, the shocking murder in Beersheba clarified that “everyone has become a suspect – even haredim, unfortunately”.

Rav yosef has made varios radical statements against arabs in the past few years. For that alone he should have security and check even chareidim who might be arabs that dressed up as chareidim.

Is every Kabbalist and Rabbi going to have security guards and metal detectors by their homes?

If anybody needs security its him! He’s the most powerful man in the country and many people dislike him for whatever reason. I went to daven by his shul many times and anybody could walk in freely without any problem.

There is no harm in the fact that Harav Ovadia Yosef Shlit”a has enhanced security. The possibility exists that some arab terrorist might disguise himself as a religious Jew who comes to seek the Rav’s blessing or advice and will ch”v commit an act of murder.
