Netanyahu issued the warning after greeting the lone Israeli soldier freed in the swap, in which Israel is releasing more than 1,000 prisoners. Some 300 of them had been serving life sentences for deadly attacks on Israelis.

Netanyahu said he understood the pain of Israeli families who have lost relatives in Palestinian violence.

He said, “We will continue to fight terror and every released terrorist who returns to terror will be held accountable.” Freed Israeli soldier Gilad Schalit has arrived at an air base in central Israel for an eagerly awaited reunion with his family.

BB – Your actions speak louder than your words. While I am personally happy for Gilad and his family, you have set a dangerous precedent for future kidnappings of Israel soldiers and you have strengthened Hamas’ resolve by proving that terror does indeed pay off. You have also engandered the lives of your citizens by freeing these murderers who have shown no remorse and will continue in their quest to harm Israelis. You failed to look at the big picture and have disgraced the memory of all those Israelis who were killed or injured by the hands of these vicious animals.

Unfortunately there is no shortage of terrorists and would-be terrorists on the Arab side. Therefore, I’m not sure how the release of 1000 terrorists changes the security situation–there are at least 100 times that number already out there.

Remind me again why everyone thinks President Obama is an “enemy” of Israel?? (lol)

Seems to me, Bibi himself is doing far more damage to his own country than our President could ever DREAM of doing!

    Shameful…

Punished? Like what, sent to bed without dinner? Give me a break. How about we start executing 1000 a day instead of turning them over to their leaders? Israel used to have beitzim. What happened?

Everyone here in Israel understands that there is a great risk and a travesty of justice in letting the terrorists out of jail. On the other hand, this is a Jewish boy and he is home safe. It is head vs heart. But Gilad is home now with his family. If he was your son, something totally unthinkable, you might be more thoughtful in your comments. You people sitting there in Brooklyn pontificating and criticizing could not be more insensitive. If you were here watching this drama unfold, you would not be so fast to babble out your opinions.
