“We like for this annual meeting to also serve as inspiration for the Shluchim (the organization’s youth), to remind them that they must live their lives in a way where they are helping to improve something or someone,” said Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, 30, to Patch.com, Kotlarsky has been a rabbi since he was 21 years old.
“Our goal has always been to help people reconnect with their heritage and make this a better world through acts of kindness.”

All the yidden all the beards with no fear! Ribbono She’ll Olam shepping nachas
just out of curiousty how many actual Chozerim Bitshuvah do the shlucim make every year. (just think if everyone made just one there would be more the 5,000 per year)
This is what I call a Mass Kinus.
#2 ,yidaleh: and if that one chozer bteshuva gets married and has kids…..chabad is responsible for hundreds of thousands of people taking upon themselves more mitzvahs.we don’t count people,we count mitzvahs
whatever one thinks of chabbad they certainly know how to use the internet for their cause
“WOW” is all I can say! I have encountered and sought the services of various Shluchim throughout my travels and am always been so amazed at their selflessness and devotion to Torah. May Hakodosh Baruch Hu give them strength to continue their great work.
Kol Hakovod
This only the start, Chabad has taken on the world
I can truly thank the Shluchim who are in my small Jewish community. They have guided me back to a lifestyle of Torah & Mitzvot…for this myself & family are forever grateful!
It is impossible to make a chozer betshuva out of each Yid, , it is more to bring every Jew closer to Hashem.
Thnks for posting live webcast – wasn’t working on other sites. What a total awesome chizuk moment – wow!
These guys really show that the ebeshter intended that we use our sechel and creative skills including the internet and other forms of modern technology. It also shows how wrong and misguided the Rav who spoke at the Agudah convention last week (Schorr?) is with regard to his views on the internet. May the spirit of the rebbe hopefully open the eyes of Schorr and all the other Chareidi zealots who would seek to have yidden live in a dark cave and reject the powerful tools the Ebeshter has provided us to live a better life.
Contrast this and all the good chabad does with the speech given at the Aguda convention harping on the internet and blackberries.
If everyone can take away a bit of inspiration from this event and on a daily basis be a bit more careful how they deal with Jews and non-Jews so that each and everyone of us could be kiddush hashem then we may be zoche to the end of gallut in our time.
If it weren’t for Chabad, I wouldn’t be the Jew I am today. And the posts here are right – Chabad knows how to use media. I’ve never heard one shaliach decry technology. They don’t analyze it – they UTILIZE it. We can learn from them.
looks like a nice meal
forget about the food, the spiritual food.
after watching this amazing video, seeing how thousands of SHILUCHIM
emisaries of the REBBE,are spreading YIDISHKEIT from one end of the world to the other end,i was thinking to myself, how can we imagine even for a moment, that the Lubavitcher Rebbe z”l,is not alive,RABBOISAI,he is more alive than all of us put together,he is more alive than all the living REBBES and roshei hayeshivas, his TALMIDIM,his CHASIDIM,that he trained and nurtured, and convinced them, that they only have one TAFFKID in their life, and that is not a career, not their own selfish happines, not their own PARNASSA but to spread TORAH and YIDISHKEIT all over the world, and he succeded beyond anyones wildest imagination, his thousands of children are spreading torah and yidishkeit day and night all over the globe,Well let me ask you who is more alive ,us or the REBBE?
this is exactly what CHAZAL meant, when they said,YAACOV OVINU LOH MES,MAH ZAROH BECHAIM AF HU BECHAIM.
and by the way i am not a lubavitcher at all.

What a bunch of lubavitch propaganda. How can you bee so blind< go to Crown Heights and see a living churban habayis . I just paid a visit on Sukkos for the first time since the Rebbes zt"l ptira. What a bunch of lost souls,No focus, no direction , no hanhaga and lost was the (real) simcha i wittnessed years ago. Little kids waving Moshiach flags wa sthe highlight. While i give kudos to the chabad shlichim around the world (the hachnosa orchim & food was unserpassed) and the work they do.But it boils down to 8 people in Honk Kong 2 people in austraila etc. which pales in comparison to the problems that agudas yisroel (which i believe is nothing more then a pulpit organization as far as chizukjk hadas is concerned)is addressing. which is over 50,000 children trying to be raised al pi chinuch hatohor! If you want to see simchas hatora, dont compare chabad to Aguda convention,Go to hakofos in Pupa ,satmer bobov etc Or yeshivas Lakewood Chaim Berlin etc.
The Poroa aduma was also metaher temaim but was also metame tehorim. One canot brag about “kindeling the light of yiddisheit” by extinguishing or downplaying the flame which currently exists by rov rubum shel klal yisroel..
The only thing i see in common between Lubavitch & Aguda is,they are both trying to decide(one halachicly & one physically) when death occurs.
