Brooklyn, NY – It’s bad enough getting your car stolen, but imagine seeing it swiped three times — by the same punk.

Kevin Grant, 18, allegedly couldn’t get enough of the 2011 Acura MDX owned by Zelig Rosenthal, 34, of Williamsburg — and has been accused of using the car for joy rides around the city and to a Long Island mall, sources said.
The car has been discovered at different times riddled with bullet holes and reeking of pot.
“There’s evidence that they were smoking marijuana in the car,” Rosenthal told The Post. “These people were not up to any good. They were not feeding the homeless.”
Despite his alleged obsession with this one particular luxury SUV, Grant was released without bail yesterday after appearing in court on multiple felony larceny charges.
Rosenthal first reported his car stolen Nov. 18 after it went missing from a parking spot near Bedford Avenue and South 10th Street.
Five days later, Grant was found with the car in a Tanger Outlets in Suffolk County and charged with fourth-degree larceny, according to court records.
The car was returned.
On Dec. 15, Rosenthal again discovered his car was missing. The next day, the Acura was found blocking a driveway in East Flatbush — a block away from Grant’s home on East 96th Street.
“The car had a bullet hole through the mirror that went through the window and into the driver’s seat and out of the seat,” said Rosenthal, who runs an IT company.
Again, it was returned.
On Feb. 11, the car went missing for the third time. It was found Thursday morning, after a cop equipped with a license-plate reader spotted it parked — where else? — near Grant’s home.
Grant eventually came out of his house, got in the car and drove off — and was busted, records state.
He was allegedly driving the car by using a valet key that had been stashed in the owner’s manual, law-enforcement sources said.
“I didn’t know the valet key was in the owner’s manual . . . so I didn’t change the locks,” Rosenthal said.
“Happy to have my car back,” he added. “They put me through a lot.”
If at first you don’t succeed…
Only in New York……

Someone needs to explain how this criminal can just be let out over and over again…the system is broken and needs some serious repairs. Maybe he brought along some get out of jail free cards from the Monopoly game and the foolish judge excepted them..insanity!!
The rarest commodity is common sense. All judges and police should have to get a diploma in common sense.
The system is so messed up, it’s actually beyond repair.
Acts of “compassion” by bleeding-heart judges account for most acts of violence perpetrated by repeat, low level offenders. They get bolder and braver with each crime they get away with.
It’s time to revamp the system – BY REPLACING THE BLEEDING HEART JUDGES!!!

sounds like something out of a laurel and hardy routine. If it wasn’t so pathetic…. I think this punk gets the stupid criminal of the year award. but then, the judge seems to be in the same category because he keeps letting this punk out. Grant is laughing all the way home
So whens the fourth time going to happen?! Amazing
