Several young men pressed their heads against the rear window of one of the hearses as it drove away.

The rabbi’s widow covered her face and held her remaining child, a 1-year-old daughter, dressed in a bright pink dress.

The widow’s uncle, Marc Alloul, described how the girl woke up in the middle of the night after the killings, calling out, “Papa! Papa!”

My heart is breaking for you all, as I know every Jew is feeling the pain as One at this moment in time. 🙁

There is something so special about your people… I cannot put it into words. It’s unexplainable. The connection, the Unity in times of crisis, the benevolence expressed during Shiva (sp?), and the camaraderie after each horrific incident you have had to suffer, is breathtaking to behold, though I dare not wish to ever witness it after this, since seeing it, will mean such a great loss has happened to You once again. But G-d bless you all for staying strong & for helping one another through this difficult time.

All I can do is give my sincere condolences & promise of prayers for the family, for the local community there in France & for the people of Israel on the whole. May your great Nation always remain strong & have the merit to deserve HaShem’s protection & mercy always.

    Bless you all,
    Sherry

As a father a grandfather and as a Jew I can’t even begin to imagine the pain the community is feeling. I’m a grown man over 60 and this brought me to tears also…where will this insanity end!
