Florida’s Fifth District Court of Appeal ruled Wednesday that Judge Kenneth Lester should enter a motion to disqualify himself in George Zimmerman’s second-degree murder case. Zimmerman’s attorney Mark O’Mara asked the court earlier this month to overturn a previous ruling by Lester not to leave the case.

One of the three judges dissented in the ruling.

O’Mara had argued that Lester should disqualify himself after he said the judge made disparaging remarks about Zimmerman’s character and advocated for additional charges against him in setting his $1 million bond in July.

Zimmerman remains free on bail. He’s pleaded not guilty.

Does this mean that the judge has to leave the case? Because it looks more like an advisory to me.

I am stating to you once again: there’s a smell in the air that he’s fully innocent, just a victim of the liberal media. (Inc. PMOinFL) Hope everyone recognize him as a fine and wonderful person who was just protected himself of being murdered by this youngster Martin.

I agree with the court’s ruling in this case. Judge Lester should be replaced with a different judge.

A glimmer of hope that there is still justice here. After the Rubashkin miscarriage of justice, I was beginning to lose hope in the future of justice in the good ole’ USA. I hope Zimmerman can get a fair trial.

As I’m sure PMO can tell you at great length, the circus going on here is *not* just because Zimermann is a high profile case.

    Florida justice stinks, period.

If there is any indication of impropriety on the part of this judge, we would all rather he step down. Zimmerman may be innocent and if he is, it will take a 100% fair trial for that to be shown.

Some people get paid for clearing the streets of trash and some people do it for free. Zimmerman was a volunteer.
