According to an unreleased Gallup poll given to Buzzfeed, Jewish voters support Obama over rival Mitt Romney at a ratio of 70 to 25, about the same proportion that supported Obama to Senator John McCain (69 to 25) at the same point in the 2008 election.

The polls reflect data compiled from July 1 to September 10.

Last week, Romney slammed Obama’s handling of the Iranian threat, saying “Iran has not changed its nuclear course one iota by virtue of this president’s policies.”

Tensions over Iran policy have also come to the fore over the US administration’s refusal to accept Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s demands that it set “red lines” for Iran over its nuclear program.

Netanyahu’s comments on Iran triggered a backlash among some in Washington and the American media over the past week, accusing him of undermining Israel’s closest ally and trying to influence American politics.

In an unusual public display of criticism from an influential member of the US Senate, California Democrat Barbara Boxer wrote a letter to Netanyahu Wednesday to express “my deep disappointment over your remarks that call into question our country’s support for Israel.” She went on to describe them as “utterly contrary to the extraordinary United States- Israel alliance.”

Boxer, a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and a regular at pro-Israel events, described herself in the letter as “one of Israel’s staunchest supporters in Congress.”

In an interview with the Post, Netanyahu dismissed allegations that he is manufacturing a crisis with Obama to boost Romney in the run-up to the November 6  election as “completely groundless.”

This poll is probably inaccurate, because among Americans in general he’s doing much worse than in 2008. For the poll to be right, Jewish voters would have to like Obama now by about 10 points MORE than in 2008 (relative to other Americans). That is very, very hard to believe.

Besides, most other polls show Obama with about 60% of the Jewish vote, so this poll is a clear outlier.

Well of course President Obama has moved ahead in the polls amongst Jewish voters! Jews aren’t stupid & they’ve all seen the undercover video of Mitt Romney talk about Iran & Israel, and how the best anybody can do w\the situation is to “keep kicking the can down the road & hope that somebody, somewhere will do something about it one day”! lol Ouch! He honestly believes the situation is unreparable, while selling a 2-state solution & a Pro-Jewish state ideal to the general public!

Not to mention everything he said about 1\2 of this Nation, which turned out 2be SO revealing…

What else are the Jews left 2do but 2vote the alternative?! Romney is a total MESS! He cannot handle BIG things w\out totally mucking it up & he views the entire world as if it’s a Company!

The 47% of the people he crowed about being lazy vagabonds who don’t pay income tax…are ALSO Senior Citizens, the Retired, the Diabled, those too poor to pay it in the 1st place & Yes…even some Jews, I’m willing to bet!

When he’s hanging around w\his rich donor friends…he shows himself to be a cold, callous business man, w\out a heart for the poorest & most vulnerable amongst us! Is this the kind of man we want as President?!

its really scary, my zieda always told me that 70 percent of the jews voted for HITLER before WWll but i never understood it, but now im starting to understand, we have here in the white house president a sona yisroel. if he get re-elected the jews will be in big danger, obama will take away freedom from jews, iran will get nuke, israel will be in danger, anti-semitisim is on the rise, swastikas in brooklyn, and then 70 percent jews vote for him, history repeats itself, jews dont make again the same mistake, you made before the holocaust!!!!!

Very good, I’m pleased for obama, America owes nothing, nil, ziltch, to israel, yes we DO need to elliminate the iranians, but how, where, and when, that israel should leave to the americans, and not be such hot headed מחוצפים, that’s not to say that obama is good as president, but from all the talking of his oponent, it is just talking,,, things WILL change anyway if Romney comes in, he will see that no president can do whatever they want, its only because he needs the jewish votes,

Proud to say that all the voters in my family are not among those bleeding heart liberal Jews who will vote for Obama. Maybe Hilary will give those people Monroe another new incentive. (shame on them)

I did not vote for Obama in 2008, but I am going to vote for him this time. At least, we know where we stand with Obama. I sent Romney ‘s campaign headquarters a six page letter, with a number of concerns that I had. Among the concerns, I wanted to know what Romney’s position would be, vis-a-vis commuting the 27 year prison sentence of Jonathan Pollard, to time served. It took several weeks, but all I received back was a silly form letter, which didn’t even answer any of the questions which I asked his campaign staff. Hence, for being evasive, he is not receiving my vote. His staff has no sachel. Also, I resent Romney referring to me as “part of the 47% of the electorate who are dependent on the government for assistance”. Look, I am not dependent on anyone, and I think that despicable remark is going to impact Romney in the negative, in seven weeks. To paraphrase what F.D.R. stated on Dec. 8, 1941, “With the unbounded determination of our people, we shall gain the inevitable triumph, so help us G-d”.

History repeats itself, this redemption will be like the first redemption……….. 4/4 of the Jews died during the plague of darkness because they were happy staying in Egypt. Barak Obama is the same gematria as nachash(snake) He claims to be Christian but is a Muslim so he is both Edom and Yishmael, he is Gog, Moshiach’s arrival is imminent, the war of Gog and Magog is on it’s way and the 4/5 of the Jews in America who favor Obama will perish unless they do teshuva (repent)

Sherry, I would spend a little time reading and undersatdning what Romney said.

    1) The Peace prrocess with the PA is dead and yes the PA does not want peace with Israel nor do they have any intentions of presuing peace with Jews (If Israel was made up of Arabs then yes they would have peace). This is not news, this is not new and has been the situation since 1948 (and before). It does however give lots of fodder for news sites and Human Righs Watch to list Israel as a massive violater of human rights (disregarding any such violations in the PA comb through the commentary and the one sideded responses). The PA to this day does not reconginze Israel as a country that now firmly belongs to the Jews and without that very basic acceptance there is no place to go. (The only concession they have made was that there is a country called Israel but it belongs to the Arabs that should be returned there). Furthermore the textbooks used in the PA schools (feel free to search) continue to deny the existance of Israel as legitimate as such that the pouplation is both educated that Jews never in history lived in Isreal, and their sole purpose is to kill muslims I can not say Romney was off

I don’t believe this “unreleased” poll is accurate, not the least because it is contradicted by all other recent polls that report Jewish support for Hussein at 59 to 61%. But even so, the fact is, in polls like this they lump real Jews and jews-in-name-only in the same poll. And it is true that virtually all secularconservativereform will vote for a democrat, as will, in my far-from-scientific observation, about half of modern allegedly orthodox. And while we, Torah Jews, will vote against Hussein almost 100%, we are still the minority if lumped together with those.

This will eventually change because secularconservativereform don’t procreate in numbers sufficient to replace themselves, and even when they do procreate, half of them do so in mixed marriages, whose children will be goyim. (Even the ones born to Jewish mother and are halachically Jewish are very unlikely to be brought up Jewish, to grow up to marry Jews.) Consequently, there simply won’t be any secularconservativereform left and Jewish vote overall, guided by Torah strong positions on morality and inviolability of private property, will be much more conservative. But demographics usually take time to play out.
